Brooke Chappell - Interior Designer (aka The Sweet One)

Brooke’s background in fine art led her to pursue a career in interior design. After graduating from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2003 with a BFA in interior design, she interned with Rau and Associates in 2003 which handled the design for The Homestead and menswear retailer Franco's. Brooke later became a lead Design Consultant for Luck Stone’s Architectural Stone division for almost a decade and a designer for Williams & Sherrill Interiors, before joining Jennifer Stoner Interiors in 2018. 

Over the years, Brooke also has worked with several orphanages overseas in Guatemala, El Salvador and Mexico just to name a few.  Doing everything from construction work and exterior painting to playing and serving meals to the children there.  All the while taking on special projects for the Richmond Jazz Society and four Richmond Symphony Houses.She later took on the role of writer / contributor for Richmond Magazine’s R-Home.  She loves writing about the behind-the-scenes side of Interior design and the fascinating stories of designers’ work and homeowners’ amazing homes and private collections.  You can read some of her R-Home features at the links below:
